This isn’t a “twitter war,” this raising hell around the issue of domestic violence. An issue that has been around for fucking centuries, if not longer, and has been undermined again and again by all societies. You all know a survivor of abuse/violence. Yes, a survivor, because people die from domestic violence. Probably every single day.

This isn’t just about Chris Brown. This is about every “Chris Brown” in the world.

You should all be angry that Miranda is getting slammed for giving voice to a serious issue because she’s a white female. You should all be angry that we allow a society to exist where violent behavior towards a partner, male or female, is acceptable and, more importantly, forgotten.
